Gordon is a Berklee College of Music graduate who’s been teaching guitar for almost 30 years in a range of different positions and institutions. During that time he has been a part of the Chicago and Boston music scenes, performing and recording with many different and artists and bands.

His teaching philosophy follows helping students follow their musical interests and balances learning core musical fundamentals with achieving overall creative goals. He emphasizes the use of music technology within teaching and customizes lessons to include the use of many different digital resources.
